I am a former collegiate soccer goalie. After hanging up the cleats, I spent years working out and training on my own at the local globo gyms, weight training, cycling, running, yoga, etc. In 2016 I was convinced by a friend to give CrossFit a try. It took one class and I was HOOKED! I was in competition with myself yet working out side by side with others who were doing the same, but all the while cheering others on. I knew I wanted to do more to bring CrossFit to others so I got my Level 1 Certification, Gymnastic Certification and Weight Lifting Certification. Opening my own box became my dream on my first day of CrossFit. Helping other succeed and grow, challenge themselves and develop a love for fitness and themselves is why I love coaching and the CrossFit community.

I have been a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard since 2006. I am currently serving as a Recruiter and was formally a member of Security Forces (Law Enforcement). Always having the need to be in good physical fitness, I knew I needed something different than the typical 24 hour fitness gym. I began CrossFit in 2014. Having played sports throughout my whole life, CrossFit became an instant match! Due to my competitive drive I wanted to try a competition. In early 2015 I competed in my first local competition taking first place which helped to further solidify my love for CrossFit. Because of this love of CrossFit and my desires and wants to help people, I knew my next step was to become a CrossFit Level 1 trainer in early 2016. i have continued to compete throughout the past years as an individual and also on teams. In 2019 I was unfortunately sidelined for the year due to a non CrossFit related injury. Now, completely recovered I look forward to getting back out on the floor in 2020!

I began my CrossFit journey with 1350 in May of 2019. My goal was simple, to better myself physically and mentally. I had no idea when I walked in the door for the first time that I would find more than a gym, I would find a community that included me, that pushed me and challenged me. I gained muscles, endurance, skills, confidence in spades and most importantly friends. As I grew in my CrossFit career I started to compete locally and loved the influence I had on others and they had on me. Coaching was a natural next step for me. In 2020 I decided it was time to pursue my L1. Helping others to accomplish things they never thought possible, watching people come out of their comfort zones and pushing through a self established limit is my goal every time I step into class as an athlete and now as a coach.

I have been doing CrossFit since 2015! People, people, people is all I have to say! CrossFit s about bettering yourself and others. I love learning, I love helping, I love seeing the impossible become possible. Personal CrossFit wasn’t enough for me, coaching was the tip of the ice berg. I love to learn new ways, love educating myself to better others. CrossFit, and overall general health, became such a passion for me I expanded my education abilities to include children and teens. I have a studied and educated myself in the ways to keep fitness a priority for those undergoing special circumstances, including but not limited to athletes undergoing long term medical treatments and pregnancy. In 2020 I started my own one on one personal training business for those athletes needing more specialized attention. If you need it I want to be the one to find a way to make it happen. Health and fitness are so important for absolutely everyone and it is my goal to ensure it is available in the most fun and productive way possible.
